A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Tomas Belarmo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mauro Meder in the 10th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Educación Física Forrmosa's zone, Esteban Tximitx stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tomas Belarmo came out of the goal and Esteban Tximitx tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mauro Meder took the ball and in the 17 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tomas Belarmo. Tomas Belarmo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Mauro Meder blasted a shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tomas Belarmo having to make a save. Educación Física Forrmosa's Tomas Belarmo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mauro Meder in the 25th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ildefonso Dimo during the 26th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Esteban Tximitx received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Tomas Belarmo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 58th minute, one of C A San Miguel:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for C A San Miguel. Bartolo Semeno shot the penalty kick right outside the post. In the 63rd minute Aaron Ihazintu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nunez Cordara saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aaron Ihazintu charged in rather forcefully in the 68th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aaron Ihazintu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Educación Física Forrmosa getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Aaron Ihazintu hit a great ball. When Mateo Abad came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Educación Física Forrmosa fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mateo Abad couldn't finish the play. Mateo Abad sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 85th minute, Aaron Ihazintu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nunez Cordara was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Mateo Abad fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nunez Cordara having to interfere. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
