An unexpectedly hard shot by Teodoro Astrada in the 4th minute of play forced Ensenada F.C.'s goalkeeper Godofredo Silvanito to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Cream Team defense, Amadeo Mundo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lisandro Ospetsu. The Cream Team fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lisandro Ospetsu should have stopped the shot. If Amadeo Mundo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 12 minutes into the match, Cream Team's goal looked a bit too open when Pastor Xacintu came free, but Lisandro Ospetsu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pastor Xacintu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Lisandro Ospetsu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lisandro Ospetsu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pastor Xacintu went, in the 17th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. In the 25th minute, Baldomero Larra got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Lorenzo Txaran fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ensenada F.C.'s protests and gave Lorenzo Txaran a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Cream Team booed when Ensenada F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lorenzo Txaran didn't get a good kick on the ball. Guillermo Herrera, 30 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. 37 minutes into the match, Cream Team's goal looked a bit too open when Amadeo Mundo came free, but Lisandro Ospetsu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Ensenada F.C.'s Godofredo Silvanito got control of the ball when Amador Micael tried to sneak it across the goal line. Lisandro Ospetsu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pastor Xacintu, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Teodoro Astrada received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Godofredo Silvanito tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Teodoro Astrada made a kick off. In the 53rd minute, Guillermo Herrera got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Ensenada F.C.'s Baldomero Larra got a free kick in the 55th minute. After some careless play in the Ensenada F.C. defense, Amador Micael kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Godofredo Silvanito. The Ensenada F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Godofredo Silvanito should have stopped the shot. Lisandro Ospetsu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lorenzo Txaran, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Amador Micael fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Godofredo Silvanito having to interfere. After 72 minutes, Federico Prejun mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ensenada F.C. and the Cream Team players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Ensenada F.C. getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Federico Prejun hit a great ball. Teodoro Astrada fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Godofredo Silvanito having to interfere. When Cream Team's Teodoro Astrada in the 80th minute got a chance for a shot 80th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ensenada F.C.'s goalie prevented a goal. After having played for 82 minutes, Teodoro Astrada managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cream Team's supporters crossed their fingers, but Teodoro Astrada was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 83 played minutes Ensenada F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Lorenzo Txaran. In the 86th minute, Lorenzo Txaran hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 89 minutes of play, Cream Team's Amador Micael made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Godofredo Silvanito was left in no man's land by his defense there! Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
