When the match had gone on for 33 minutes, Baltasar Perez took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Jonatan Llorienzo to make any attempt to save it. Mauricio Lopes struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Jonatan Llorienzo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for WaLeros. 41 minutes into the match, Naipe AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Baltasar Perez came free, but Jonatan Llorienzo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpected shot in the 42nd minute by Mauricio Lopes got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Jonatan Llorienzo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Baltasar Perez in the 45th minute of the match. When Ariel Lucado fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Naipe AFC's protests and gave Ariel Lucado a yellow card for diving instead. Baltasar Perez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonatan Llorienzo having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Siro Bembe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Apolo Azibar, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. After having played for 72 minutes, Lino Gelmiro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Naipe AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lino Gelmiro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mauricio Lopes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in WaLeros's zone, Hipolito Sidoro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Siro Bembe came out of the goal and Hipolito Sidoro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mauricio Lopes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hipolito Sidoro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Siro Bembe having to interfere. For all the effort they put into the match, the Naipe AFC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for WaLeros.
