Alumbrera's defense didn't have a chance, in the 12th minute, when Teodoro Astrada scored to the left of an out of position Daniel Danel, making the score, 3-0. Teodoro Astrada might have been able to make a better finish in the 25th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Daniel Danel. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Teodoro Astrada ran back to his position shaking his head. Lisandro Ospetsu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nicolas Poz, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Daniel Nabar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lisandro Ospetsu having to interfere. 30 minutes into the game, Ezequiel Bixintxo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Alumbrera's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cream Team the free kick. After a rather tough play, Alumbrera's Ezequiel Bixintxo got a free kick in the 31st minute. Daniel Danel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teodoro Astrada, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. In the 37th match minute, Alumbrera was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joaquin Rodas to maneuver through the defense. Cream Team's Venancio Aguirre shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 39th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Daniel Danel but with some difficulty. The audience thought a goal was coming when Amador Micael got free with Daniel Danel in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Nicolas Poz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Venancio Aguirre received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Daniel Danel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Amador Micael recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

Eliseo Isauro kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Lisandro Ospetsu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nicolas Poz in the 55th minute. Nicolas Poz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. An unexpectedly hard shot by Venancio Aguirre in the 77th minute of play forced Alumbrera's goalkeeper Daniel Danel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lisandro Ospetsu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Nabar in the 80th minute of the match. 81 minutes into the game, Teodoro Astrada cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Daniel Danel was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Teodoro Astrada fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daniel Danel having to interfere. In the 93rd minute, Teodoro Astrada got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cristo Monico charged in rather forcefully in the 94th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cristo Monico the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 94 played minutes Alumbrera got a freekick which was hit by Cristo Monico.
