With 77 minutes on the clock, Teodosio Mosen commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 77th minute of the game. One of La Viola de Betito:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Cintra:s goal. If Fabricio Tiso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 88th minute Pascual Hustaz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eloy Froylan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cintra's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
