Diego Armando FC's Victorio Incendio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Celso Laurentzi in the 4th minute of play. Celso Laurentzi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucas Fonda in the 14th minute of play forced Sey FC's goalkeeper Higinio Ongile to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 21 minutes into the game, Baldomero Hanot was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sey FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Diego Armando FC the free kick. With his leg Higinio Ongile managed to avoid a goal in the 23rdth minute, when Diego Armando FC's Epifanio Felo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 27 played minutes, Sey FC's Fidel Rivero shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Victorio Incendio came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Sey FC reached it. 31 minutes into the match, Lucas Fonda dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Higinio Ongile, 1-0. Epifanio Felo struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Higinio Ongile didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Diego Armando FC. Sey FC's Higinio Ongile proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save Sey FC from getting a goal against them. Lucas Fonda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Higinio Ongile having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lucas Fonda to make the kick off. When Celso Laurentzi came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Sey FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Celso Laurentzi couldn't finish the play. Victorio Incendio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Feliberto Leoncio in the 56th minute. Sey FC's Celso Laurentzi got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Sey FC getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Bartolo Mazuste hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Diego Armando FC's Ramiro Bordat got a free kick in the 65th minute. A hard shot 66 in the game by Feliberto Leoncio from a close distance when the talented Victorio Incendio managed to make a qualified save. Diego Armando FC's players were relieved. After 68 played minutes Diego Armando FC got a freekick which was hit by Raimundo Estevez. Lucas Fonda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Celso Laurentzi, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 77 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Victorio Incendio was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Higinio Ongile showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Epifanio Felo in the 81st minute of the match. With a little luck, Diego Armando FC's Victorio Incendio got control of the ball when Feliberto Leoncio tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Diego Armando FC booed when Sey FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Virgilio Arnalt didn't get a good kick on the ball. 85 minutes into the match, Diego Armando FC's Raimundo Estevez broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After some careless play in the Diego Armando FC defense, Feliberto Leoncio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Victorio Incendio. The Diego Armando FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Victorio Incendio should have stopped the shot. 98 minutes into the match, Diego Armando FC's goal looked a bit too open when Celso Laurentzi came free, but Victorio Incendio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
