Abelardo Bermudez, 16 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After 23 played minutes Estudiantes LP got a freekick which was hit by Sergio Danel. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Alejo Cordearo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mar.16's supporters rose to their feet, but Alejo Cordearo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Danilo Valiente breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gaudencio Chabier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Clemente Leoncio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 31 minutes into the match, Estudiantes LP's goal looked a bit too open when Leopoldo Osasun came free, but Danilo Valiente reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a left leg Danilo Valiente saved Estudiantes LP from getting behind. Danilo Valiente was out of position in the 44 minute of play, and Gilberto Vigil capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Gilberto Vigil really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 49th minute, Leopoldo Osasun managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mar.16's supporters rose to their feet, but Leopoldo Osasun was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. The wind increased when Gaudencio Chabier made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Mar.16's Filomeno Xabat got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Americo Crispo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Clemente Leoncio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gaudencio Chabier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alejo Cordearo during the 63rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
