After 11 minutes, Jairo Bernard mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the De neon and the LA CARPULE players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, De neon's Jairo Bernard got a free kick in the 11th minute. When Fabricio Santikurtz fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored LA CARPULE's protests and gave Fabricio Santikurtz a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of De neon booed when LA CARPULE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabricio Santikurtz didn't get a good kick on the ball. 20 minutes into the game, Arnulfo Lidon cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Damaso Lando was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. LA CARPULE's Mariano Frechoso was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Arnaldo Amato in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 34th minute, Felix Chorache left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The De neon fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Arnulfo Lidon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Damaso Lando tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 44th minute Arnulfo Lidon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Damaso Lando saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The LA CARPULE players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. De neon were winning 1-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Arnulfo Lidon stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Arnulfo Lidon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Felix Chorache sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, De neon's Ladislao Acevedo got a free kick in the 76th minute. Arnulfo Lidon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Damaso Lando tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Braulio Rocio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Damaso Lando showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felix Chorache in the 92nd minute of the match. After having played for 94 minutes, Felix Chorache managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. De neon's supporters crossed their fingers, but Felix Chorache was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the final whistle sounded De neon left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than LA CARPULE.
