Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Icaño FC's Omar Kiliz started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute, Timoteo Feliz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some careless play in the Giuseppe Garibaldi defense, Timoteo Feliz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Samuel Lugo. The Giuseppe Garibaldi fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Samuel Lugo should have stopped the shot. When Giuseppe Garibaldi's Jaime Ugutz in the 11th minute got a chance for a shot 11th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 18th minute, Jaime Ugutz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Timoteo Feliz got free with Samuel Lugo in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 27th match minute, Giuseppe Garibaldi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Victorio Nuxila to maneuver through the defense. In the 28th minute of the match Denis Orkatz shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Samuel Lugo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Giuseppe Garibaldi's Javier Calisto got a free kick in the 28th minute. After recieving a nice pass, Icaño FC's Denis Orkatz tried to score from far away in the 29th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Edgardo Eguerdi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Samuel Lugo having to interfere. Javier Calisto kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Samuel Lugo was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Conrado Esdras. After a rather tough play, Giuseppe Garibaldi's Godfredo Esquipula got a free kick in the 39th minute. Omar Kiliz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Samuel Lugo having to interfere. In the 47th minute Jeremias Mannie shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amancio Richie saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jaime Ugutz to make the kick off. Omar Kiliz kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Timoteo Feliz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Samuel Lugo was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. In the 57th minute Omar Kiliz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Samuel Lugo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Amancio Richie showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jaime Ugutz, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. The supporters of Giuseppe Garibaldi booed when Icaño FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vladimiro Ascencio didn't get a good kick on the ball. 66 minutes into the match, Omar Kiliz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Samuel Lugo. Giuseppe Garibaldi's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Omar Kiliz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Samuel Lugo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Omar Kiliz in the 69th minute of play. Samuel Lugo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Timoteo Feliz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Timoteo Feliz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Samuel Lugo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Timoteo Feliz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 78th minute Omar Kiliz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Samuel Lugo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Giuseppe Garibaldi's zone, Timoteo Feliz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Samuel Lugo came out of the goal and Timoteo Feliz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 81st minute, Arnaldo Ishmael hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Giuseppe Garibaldi booed when Icaño FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cipriano Jeraldo didn't get a good kick on the ball. 92 minutes into the match, Giuseppe Garibaldi's goal looked a bit too open when Timoteo Feliz came free, but Samuel Lugo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
