Omar Kiliz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Martin Cordario having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Albano Gaztea in the 16th minute of play forced Icaño FC's goalkeeper Amancio Richie to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind Tambillo AFC's goalkeeper Martin Cordario, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A very good chance. 38 minutes into the match, Icaño FC's Timoteo Feliz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Martin Cordario narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Tambillo AFC's Martin Cordario proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save Tambillo AFC from getting a goal against them. Martin Cordario didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 45th minute, which inside left pole to 2-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Aldo Ugutz kicked well hit freekick during the 50th minute of the match. With a little luck, Icaño FC's Amancio Richie got control of the ball when Albano Gaztea tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 57 played minutes Tambillo AFC got a freekick which was hit by Albano Gaztea. After a defensive mix-up in Tambillo AFC's zone, Omar Kiliz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Martin Cordario came out of the goal and Omar Kiliz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Timoteo Feliz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Tambillo AFC booed when Icaño FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edgardo Eguerdi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Albano Gaztea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Amancio Richie tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Agustin Marcones had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Martin Cordario made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Omar Kiliz in the 75th minute of play. If Omar Kiliz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aldo Ugutz's late challenge caught a Icaño FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aldo Ugutz helped the player get up and apologised. In the 89th match minute, Tambillo AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aldo Ugutz to maneuver through the defense. Martin Cordario made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Timoteo Feliz in the 94th minute of play. Icaño FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
