But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Danilo Eutor couldn't finish the play. Roman Cortez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ubaldo Ospin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 9th minute of play. After a rather tough play, HURACAN's Omar Nuñez got a free kick in the 13th minute. HURACAN's Elpidio Irrintzi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Danilo Eutor in the 14th minute of play. Hugo Selatse fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elpidio Irrintzi having to interfere. A collision led to HURACAN getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Ulises Francis hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Xr 250's zone, Roman Cortez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ubaldo Ospin came out of the goal and Roman Cortez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ubaldo Ospin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roman Cortez in the 69th minute of the match. A collision led to Xr 250 getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Denis Fernandes hit a great ball. After 73 minutes of play, HURACAN's Roman Cortez made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ubaldo Ospin was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ulises Francis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Roman Cortez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. Danilo Eutor could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Elpidio Irrintzi made a huge save. Elpidio Irrintzi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hugo Selatse, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. HURACAN's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
