The coaching staff of HURACAN protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Isaac Evis had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In a very dangerous position, a player in HURACAN fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 14th minute. Penalty! Apolo Tiniebra shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Elpidio Irrintzi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Severo Chan's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. In the 19th minute, Omar Nuñez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Severo Chan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elpidio Irrintzi having to interfere. Gerardo Victoro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Elpidio Irrintzi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Ranchillos AFC's zone, Roman Cortez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hernan Raulo came out of the goal and Roman Cortez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Gerardo Victoro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ranchillos AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Gerardo Victoro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Elpidio Irrintzi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Ranchillos AFC's Victorio Jurdan in the 33rd minute got a chance for a shot 33rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye HURACAN's goalie prevented a goal. HURACAN's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Apolo Tiniebra ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Ranchillos AFC's corner Apolo Tiniebra fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Elpidio Irrintzi quite easily take care of the ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Severo Chan to make the kick off. Gerardo Victoro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elpidio Irrintzi having to interfere. 64 minutes into the match, HURACAN's goal looked a bit too open when Severo Chan came free, but Elpidio Irrintzi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 68th minute, Severo Chan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Gerardo Victoro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in HURACAN's zone, Severo Chan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Elpidio Irrintzi came out of the goal and Severo Chan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Roman Cortez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Hernan Raulo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Severo Chan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. Ranchillos AFC were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
