The audience thought a goal was coming when Bartolo Herena got free with Elpidio Irrintzi in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Roman Cortez blasted a shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Paulino Lano having to make a save. Fabricio Ferrando scored 0-1 in the 10th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Paulino Lano, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 17th minute, Bartolo Herena reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Elpidio Irrintzi. The goal made the score 2-1. A collision led to HURACAN getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Roman Cortez hit a great ball. If Bartolo Herena had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. Elpidio Irrintzi was out of position in the 29 minute of play, and Yuri Batuecas capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Yuri Batuecas really showed his touch with that goal: 3-1. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bartolo Herena made a kick off. In the 53rd minute, Bartolo Herena got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Feliberto Martxelin made a great header on Don Pedro II's corner, it was just that HURACAN's Elpidio Irrintzi managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 64th minute, Bartolo Herena hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bartolo Herena might have been able to make a better finish in the 66th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Elpidio Irrintzi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. If Silvio Rocio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Elpidio Irrintzi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bartolo Herena's shot from short distance in the 94th minute. HURACAN's Elpidio Irrintzi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bartolo Herena in the 95th minute of play. After 96 played minutes Fabricio Ferrando rounded Don Pedro II's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 6-2. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Don Pedro II fully deserved thier win.
