Hugo Selatse fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Severino Cordairo having to interfere. Jacobo Toli's late challenge caught a Xr 250's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jacobo Toli helped the player get up and apologised. Jacobo Toli hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. When FC LA MAQUINITA's Inocencio Belmiro in the 10th minute got a chance for a shot 10th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Xr 250's goalie prevented a goal. Ubaldo Ospin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristo Seme, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Xr 250 getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Esteban Rivero hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Xr 250's zone, Nereo Ostadar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ubaldo Ospin came out of the goal and Nereo Ostadar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Esteban Rivero was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 19 minutes had been played. In the 20th minute, Esteban Rivero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Xr 250's Ubaldo Ospin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristo Seme in the 22nd minute of play. In the 25th minute the ball was on its way in behind Xr 250's goalkeeper Ubaldo Ospin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Xr 250's zone, Nereo Ostadar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ubaldo Ospin came out of the goal and Nereo Ostadar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Nereo Ostadar's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ubaldo Ospin was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. Xr 250's Gavino Gauargi got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ubaldo Ospin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nereo Ostadar's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. Nereo Ostadar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ubaldo Ospin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nereo Ostadar in the 54th minute of play. Cristo Seme sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristo Seme in the 57th minute of play forced Xr 250's goalkeeper Ubaldo Ospin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Xr 250's Ubaldo Ospin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nereo Ostadar in the 63rd minute of play. In the 66th match minute, Xr 250 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Martin Erroman to maneuver through the defense. Xr 250's Ubaldo Ospin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save Xr 250 from getting a goal against them. In the 69th minute, Honorio Laurendi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Xr 250's Martin Erroman got a free kick in the 74th minute. Cristo Seme struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Ubaldo Ospin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC LA MAQUINITA. Ubaldo Ospin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nereo Ostadar's shot from short distance in the 80th minute. Cristo Seme spun around in front of the goal 82 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Xr 250's goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristo Seme got free with Ubaldo Ospin in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Martin Erroman came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Xr 250 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Martin Erroman couldn't finish the play. Cristo Seme fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ubaldo Ospin having to interfere. FC LA MAQUINITA's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
