After 16 minutes, Orlando Valerio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mencué FC and the Los templarios F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. Gaudencio Calvino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Omar Estebano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Omar Estebano stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Igor Florin's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. Angelo Oliverios made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Ramon Oliviero sent off a good shot on target. 36 minutes into the match, Mencué FC's Gaudencio Calvino sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Omar Estebano narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Igor Florin in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Omar Estebano prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gaudencio Calvino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Raul Elodio made a kick off. Gaudencio Calvino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Omar Estebano having to interfere. Omar Estebano made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Igor Florin sent off a good shot on target. Igor Florin struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Omar Estebano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mencué FC. In the 72ndth minute of the game Gaudencio Calvino who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Los templarios F.C.'s Omar Estebano was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Los templarios F.C.'s zone, Paolo Hustaz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Omar Estebano came out of the goal and Paolo Hustaz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 75th minute, Igor Florin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Omar Estebano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gaudencio Calvino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Mencué FC's Lorenzo Elixio got a free kick in the 82nd minute. In the 84th minute Gaudencio Calvino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Omar Estebano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Igor Florin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Omar Estebano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Omar Estebano had great luck who in the 87thth minute grab hold of the ball when Gaudencio Calvino from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. After having played for 97 minutes, Gaudencio Calvino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mencué FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gaudencio Calvino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mencué FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
