Esteve Pelagius didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Carmelo Sugoi went, in the 13th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Valentin Venceslas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Domingo Bernad having to interfere. Fausto Chico sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tomas Pes during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 25th match minute, San Martin FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomas Pes to maneuver through the defense. Domingo Bernad showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fausto Chico in the 28th minute of the match. Carmelo Sugoi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Esteve Pelagius tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Domingo Bernad was a little too slow when Valentin Venceslas got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 39th minute. The score was now 1-2. A collision led to CHAPITA getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Eduardo Pacho hit a great ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fausto Chico was the one to do the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alfredo Sindo got free with Esteve Pelagius in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. San Martin FC's Domingo Bernad played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valentin Venceslas in the 54th minute of play. Domingo Bernad showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valentin Venceslas, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. In the 61st match minute, CHAPITA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fausto Chico to maneuver through the defense. Carmelo Sugoi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Esteve Pelagius having to interfere. Domingo Bernad showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valentin Venceslas in the 82nd minute of the match. CHAPITA's Fausto Chico got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 89th match minute, San Martin FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jose Uzuri to maneuver through the defense. When Valentin Venceslas came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the CHAPITA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Valentin Venceslas couldn't finish the play. In the 96th minute of the match, Alfredo Sindo got a very nice opportunity to score, but Esteve Pelagius was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. San Martin FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
