Gervasio Orkatz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Inocencio Refugio in the 12th minute of play. A collision led to Casey AFC getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Justino Primo hit a great ball. With a little luck, Casey AFC's Gervasio Orkatz got control of the ball when Alvaro Primeiro tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gervasio Orkatz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Inocencio Refugio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mateo Perrando showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leandro Botello in the 46th minute of the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Alvaro Primeiro took the ball and in the 54 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gervasio Orkatz. Gervasio Orkatz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. In the 58th minute Inocencio Refugio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gervasio Orkatz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joel Eufrasio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Mateo Perrando tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lázaro Silban shot from long distance in the 65th minute, but Mateo Perrando was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. La Makina F.C.'s Mateo Perrando played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leandro Botello in the 70th minute of play. In the 73rd minute of the match, Joel Eufrasio got a very nice opportunity to score, but Mateo Perrando was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After a rather tough play, Casey AFC's Eustaquio Cresconio got a free kick in the 74th minute. The supporters of Casey AFC booed when La Makina F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Inocencio Refugio didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Inocencio Refugio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Casey AFC's zone, Inocencio Refugio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gervasio Orkatz came out of the goal and Inocencio Refugio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 91 minutes into the game, Justino Primo lined in a short shot 1-1 behind a frustrated Mateo Perrando. Despite being the better team, Casey AFC failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
