Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Gaston Urdaspal made the kick off which started today's match. Marcos Millano charged in rather forcefully in the 6th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marcos Millano the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Goyeneche getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Marcos Millano hit a great ball. After 10 minutes, Gaston Hug mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Despeñaderos and the Goyeneche players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 10th match minute, Despeñaderos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gaston Hug to maneuver through the defense. Gregorio Calisto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aristides Joanes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Abelardo Frisco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gaston Urdaspal in the 14th minute of play. Gaston Urdaspal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abelardo Frisco having to interfere. When Gaston Urdaspal came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Despeñaderos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gaston Urdaspal couldn't finish the play. Severo Ignado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abelardo Frisco having to interfere. Honorio Llanos kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Abelardo Frisco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gaston Urdaspal in the 30th minute of play. Despeñaderos's Gregorio Calisto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcos Millano in the 32nd minute of play. An unexpected shot in the 37th minute by Gaston Urdaspal got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Arnaldo Ramirez got free with Abelardo Frisco in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, Goyeneche's Abelardo Frisco got control of the ball when Arnaldo Ramirez tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 41st minute, Cornelio Txomin sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Goyeneche's Abelardo Frisco didn't even have to move. Abelardo Frisco was a little too slow when Gaston Urdaspal got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 43rd minute. The score was now 1-0. In the 47th minute Aristides Joanes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gregorio Calisto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Leonides Palos during the 47th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 47 played minutes Despeñaderos got a freekick which was hit by Leonides Palos. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The wind increased when Aristides Joanes made the kick off in the second half. Gregorio Calisto made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Celso Birjaio sent off a good shot on target. 58 minutes into the game, Placido Dalmau threw the ball into play from the sideline. Despeñaderos's Denis Bidun quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. If Denis Bidun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gregorio Calisto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aristides Joanes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arnaldo Ramirez took the ball and in the 66 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Abelardo Frisco. Abelardo Frisco dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. In the 69th minute, Arnaldo Ramirez left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Despeñaderos fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Abelardo Frisco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arnaldo Ramirez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arnaldo Ramirez scored 4-0 in the 77th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Abelardo Frisco, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Marcos Millano's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Gregorio Calisto firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 89th minute, Leonides Palos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A hard shot by Celso Birjaio from long distance, 90 minutes into the match, got Gregorio Calisto's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Leonides Palos got his second yellow card in the match during the 90th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After a rather tough play, Despeñaderos's Leonides Palos got a free kick in the 91st minute. Gregorio Calisto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aristides Joanes in the 94th minute of play. With a little luck, Despeñaderos's Gregorio Calisto got control of the ball when Marcos Millano tried to sneak it across the goal line. There was no doubt that Despeñaderos were the better team. Despeñaderos's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
