The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Eulalio Chabier came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by Olfen Rica B.R.'s Dante Egoi. But to his dismay, Dante Egoi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. If Ruperto Vitin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Robustiano Primo struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Eulalio Chabier didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Olfen Rica B.R.. Eulalio Chabier acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 33rd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Esteve Lesardo. Eulalio Chabier took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Robustiano Primo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eulalio Chabier made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Dante Egoi sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 41 minutes, Lino Ubendu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Liverpool FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lino Ubendu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 46th match minute, Liverpool FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Saverio Oier to maneuver through the defense. Dante Egoi's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 47thth minute, Eulalio Chabier skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ruperto Vitin to strike the kick off in the second half. Eulalio Chabier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robustiano Primo in the 52nd minute of play. Amancio Palban made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Baldomero Nabar sent off a good shot on target. Esteve Lesardo hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Olfen Rica B.R.'s zone, Leo Estevez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Amancio Palban came out of the goal and Leo Estevez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Robustiano Primo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eulalio Chabier having to interfere. If Robustiano Primo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 86 minutes, Ismael Lohitzun managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Olfen Rica B.R.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Ismael Lohitzun was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 90th minute the ball was on its way in behind Liverpool FC's goalkeeper Eulalio Chabier, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Filiberto Afonso charged in rather forcefully in the 97th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Filiberto Afonso the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 97th match minute, Liverpool FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Filiberto Afonso to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Olfen Rica B.R. had won after a very even match.
