When Celso Birjaio fell near the penalty area in the 8th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Goyeneche's protests and gave Celso Birjaio a yellow card for diving instead. After 8 played minutes Goyeneche got a freekick which was hit by Celso Birjaio. 15 minutes into the game, Esteve Lesardo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Olfen Rica B.R.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Goyeneche the free kick. Esteve Lesardo kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Robustiano Primo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abelardo Frisco having to interfere. Amancio Palban made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mauricio Romelio in the 21st minute of play. When Olfen Rica B.R.'s Dante Egoi in the 23rd minute got a chance for a shot 23rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Goyeneche's goalie prevented a goal. After a rather tough play, Goyeneche's Celso Birjaio got a free kick in the 26th minute. Abelardo Frisco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dante Egoi in the 27th minute of play. In the 30th minute, Aristides Joanes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 31 minutes, Dante Egoi made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Goyeneche's Abelardo Frisco tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Goyeneche's Abelardo Frisco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robustiano Primo in the 34th minute of play. In the 38th minute, Dante Egoi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dante Egoi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Abelardo Frisco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half Olfen Rica B.R. were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dante Egoi to make the kick off. Abelardo Frisco made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Dante Egoi sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Goyeneche booed when Olfen Rica B.R. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Damaso Inguma didn't get a good kick on the ball. Amancio Palban took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aristides Joanes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 62 played minutes Olfen Rica B.R. got a freekick which was hit by Ceferino Florian. A hard shot 65 in the game by Dante Egoi from a close distance when the talented Abelardo Frisco managed to make a qualified save. Goyeneche's players were relieved. After 66 played minutes Olfen Rica B.R. got a freekick which was hit by Robustiano Primo. 67 minutes into the game, Marcos Millano cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Amancio Palban was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 71st minute Robustiano Primo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abelardo Frisco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Robustiano Primo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Abelardo Frisco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Olfen Rica B.R.'s Dante Egoi slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Abelardo Frisco. That made the score 1-3 after 76 minutes of play. 79 minutes into the match, Aristides Joanes notched a goal, 2-3, to the right of Olfen Rica B.R.'s Amancio Palban. Amancio Palban was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The attack was good, but when Dante Egoi in the 88th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. The supporters of Goyeneche booed when Olfen Rica B.R. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Esteve Lesardo didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Robustiano Primo came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Olfen Rica B.R. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Robustiano Primo couldn't finish the play. When the final whistle sounded Olfen Rica B.R. left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Goyeneche.
