In the 4th match minute, Club Atlético Pernetas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fidel Tolino to maneuver through the defense. In the 5th minute of the match Leo Estevez shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Enrique Firman showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. With a little luck, Club Atlético Pernetas's Enrique Firman got control of the ball when Saverio Oier tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Saverio Oier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 12th minute Ruperto Vitin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Enrique Firman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luis Blanco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eulalio Chabier having to interfere. In the 22nd minute, Baldomero Nabar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eulalio Chabier came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by Club Atlético Pernetas's Luis Blanco. But to his dismay, Luis Blanco quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Herminio Lauro kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Club Atlético Pernetas defense, Ruperto Vitin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Enrique Firman. The Club Atlético Pernetas fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Enrique Firman should have stopped the shot. Saverio Oier might have been able to make a better finish in the 35th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Enrique Firman. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Saverio Oier ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience was convinced that Ruperto Vitin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Enrique Firman was relentless in the 38th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Club Atlético Pernetas's Lisandro Barros got a free kick in the 40th minute. In the 48th minute, Saverio Oier left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Liverpool FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ruperto Vitin made a kick off. Angel Lico fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eulalio Chabier having to interfere. In the 60th minute Saverio Oier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Enrique Firman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eulalio Chabier made an important save on a dangerous shot by Angel Lico in the 63rd minute. Eulalio Chabier made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Angel Lico sent off a good shot on target. In the 66th minute Luis Blanco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eulalio Chabier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The tension between the Club Atlético Pernetas and the Liverpool FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Club Atlético Pernetas getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Prospero Oso hit a great ball. If Ruperto Vitin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Club Atlético Pernetas booed when Liverpool FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joaquin Ruisko didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luis Blanco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Eulalio Chabier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 100 minutes into the match, Angel Lico had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Eulalio Chabier. Liverpool FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Angel Lico was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. For all the effort they put into the match, the Club Atlético Pernetas players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Liverpool FC.
