Timoteo Lekubegi spun around in front of the goal 52 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Salto AFC's goal. Lázaro Llope made an important save on a dangerous shot by Saturnino Cuarto in the 54th minute. In the 54th minute, Prospero Belmiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jairo Baudelio came out of the goal and Cipriano Franco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jairo Baudelio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rolando Errapel in the 66th minute of play. Chacota FC's Saturnino Cuarto got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lázaro Llope made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Timoteo Lekubegi in the 69th minute of play. Saturnino Cuarto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Lázaro Llope tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cipriano Franco in the 85th minute of play forced Chacota FC's goalkeeper Jairo Baudelio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Saturnino Cuarto struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Lázaro Llope didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chacota FC. Saturnino Cuarto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lázaro Llope having to interfere. For all the effort they put into the match, the Chacota FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Salto AFC.
