Menos Patada Que Una Pila's Maximino Ourente played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luciano Sanduru in the 18th minute of play. In the 20th minute of the match, Esteban Lesardo tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Neşat Refet saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. If Esteban Lesardo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gonzalo Veremundo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maximino Ourente having to interfere. Menos Patada Que Una Pila's Maximino Ourente played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luciano Sanduru in the 27th minute of play. In the 31st minute, Gonzalo Veremundo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Maximino Ourente came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by UD Las Palmas's Pascual Crescencio. But to his dismay, Pascual Crescencio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Maximino Ourente didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gonzalo Veremundo went, in the 37th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Gonzalo Veremundo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

UD Las Palmas's Luciano Sanduru got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Maximino Ourente was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Luciano Sanduru showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-5 in the 74 minute of play. UD Las Palmas's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
