Evelio Monte fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leo Tono having to interfere. Santos Pueblo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Federico Erramu in the 24th minute of play. In the 25thth minute of the game Evelio Monte who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Capos FC's Leo Tono was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

Leo Tono stood somewhat misplaced when Evelio Monte came free in front of goal and shot 0-4 to the left of him in the 53 minute. After having played for 62 minutes, Evelio Monte managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. La mujineta's supporters crossed their fingers, but Evelio Monte was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, Capos FC's Leo Tono got control of the ball when Evelio Monte tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 82nd minute, Aquiles Servando got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Federico Erramu charged in rather forcefully in the 83rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Federico Erramu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. La mujineta's Aquiles Servando got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
