Spectators: 7212 (Terracing: 5410, Seating: 1659, VIP seats: 143) Miguel Damario started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 3 minutes into the match, Miguel Damario had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ciro Cresenciano. Independiente's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Miguel Damario was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Damian Deunoro hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. After 13 played minutes Independiente got a freekick which was hit by Damian Deunoro. The supporters of Siddharta FC booed when Independiente was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Damian Deunoro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Baldomero Lander recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ciro Cresenciano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miguel Damario in the 20th minute of play. In the 22nd minute Eusebio Osoitz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ciro Cresenciano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Norberto Remigio charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Norberto Remigio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Independiente getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Norberto Remigio hit a great ball. Baldomero Lander struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Ciro Cresenciano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Siddharta FC. If Eusebio Osoitz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Augusto Tercero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Damian Deunoro in the 27th minute of play. Ciro Cresenciano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baldomero Lander in the 29th minute of play. Ciro Cresenciano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Miguel Damario, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 36 minutes, Orlando Santio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Independiente and the Siddharta FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 36th minute, Orlando Santio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 37th minute, Miguel Damario made a precise shot to the right of Ciro Cresenciano. Independiente's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. After a rather tough play, Siddharta FC's Manuel Olayo got a free kick in the 41st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Damian Deunoro in the 44th minute of play forced Siddharta FC's goalkeeper Augusto Tercero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half Siddharta FC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

If Baldomero Lander had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a rather tough play, Independiente's Orlando Santio got a free kick in the 58th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eusebio Osoitz got free with Ciro Cresenciano in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Dalmacio Teyo kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Jonatan Miro kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Baldomero Lander's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ciro Cresenciano read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 75th minute of play. A collision led to Independiente getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Orlando Santio hit a great ball. Independiente's Ciro Cresenciano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Baldomero Lander in the 77th minute of play. Baldomero Lander received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Ciro Cresenciano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eusebio Osoitz succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-3 in the 84th playminute. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 88th minute of the game. One of Independiente:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Siddharta FC:s goal. Independiente:s Ciro Cresenciano showed great skill when he stopped Eusebio Osoitz:s penalty. Miguel Damario received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Ciro Cresenciano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Independiente's zone, Miguel Damario stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ciro Cresenciano came out of the goal and Miguel Damario tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 95th minute, Independiente's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Eusebio Osoitz fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Ciro Cresenciano made a fantastic save in the 96th minute, when Miguel Damario sent off a good shot on target. Baldomero Lander fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ciro Cresenciano having to interfere. The Independiente fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Siddharta FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
