In the 2nd minute, Jeremias Macias got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Diego Miro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jeremias Macias, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Diego Miro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jeremias Macias, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Robustiano Sidro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Braulio Gervaso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 14 minutes, Tiburcio Primeiro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pichota AFC and the Gambrinus City players grew even worse after the yellow card. Braulio Gervaso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robustiano Sidro having to interfere. After 23 played minutes, Pichota AFC's Prudencio Lugo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Diego Miro came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Pichota AFC reached it. In the 25th minute, Prospero Frutos left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Pichota AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Jeremias Macias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rene Ostots hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. When Pichota AFC's Prospero Frutos in the 35th minute got a chance for a shot 35th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Gambrinus City's goalie prevented a goal. In the 37th minute of the match Anibal Gorri sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Diego Miro skillfully saved the ball. Diego Miro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Prospero Frutos's shot from short distance in the 41st minute. Diego Miro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Prospero Frutos in the 42nd minute of the match. Pichota AFC's Robustiano Sidro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 48th minute of the match, managed to save Pichota AFC from getting a goal against them. The Gambrinus City players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Pichota AFC were winning 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Prospero Frutos stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Prospero Frutos got free with Diego Miro in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Christian Basajaun recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A well placed Prospero Frutos short distance shot in the 58th minute ended with a hard ball which without a chance for the goalkeeper went staright up into the goalkeepers left cross. In the 68th minute, Rene Ostots hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 72nd minute of the match Prudencio Lugo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Diego Miro skillfully saved the ball. Pablo Pelagius took the ball and in the 73 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Robustiano Sidro. Robustiano Sidro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. Diego Miro was out of position in the 76 minute of play, and Jeremias Macias capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Jeremias Macias really showed his touch with that goal: 1-5. After a rather tough play, Pichota AFC's Iker Poncio got a free kick in the 80th minute. After 88 played minutes Pichota AFC got a freekick which was hit by Iker Poncio. Prospero Frutos did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-7 to the left of a surprised Diego Miro 90 minutes into the match. The Pichota AFC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Pichota AFC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
