A collision led to Club Atlético Córdoba getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Edgard Firme hit a great ball. Ciro Cresenciano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Domingos Burni in the 34th minute of play. In the 41st minute Domingos Burni shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ciro Cresenciano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Damian Deunoro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Celestino Egoi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
