After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Felix Matai managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gambrinus City's supporters rose to their feet, but Felix Matai was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Celestino Egoi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Americo Terciero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Domingos Burni could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Diego Miro made a huge save. In the 85th minute, Club Atlético Córdoba's Domingos Burni ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Diego Miro. Diego Miro yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. In the 94th minute, Americo Terciero made a precise shot to the right of Diego Miro. Gambrinus City's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Club Atlético Córdoba eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
