Spectators: 6657 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1657, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Severo Jurgi kicked off to start the match. The audience was convinced that Damian Deunoro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Danilo Odilon was relentless in the 6th minute of the game. When Cayetano Osmundo came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Independiente fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cayetano Osmundo couldn't finish the play. Fortineros's Danilo Odilon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Damian Deunoro in the 11th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cayetano Osmundo in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Danilo Odilon saved Fortineros from getting behind. After 19 played minutes Fortineros got a freekick which was hit by Leonel Froylan. Ciro Cresenciano didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Leonel Nisio went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Severo Jurgi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 31st minute, Severo Jurgi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Danilo Odilon stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Damian Deunoro's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. Cayetano Osmundo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Danilo Odilon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 39 played minutes Fortineros got a freekick which was hit by Leonel Froylan. In the 41stth minute of the game Cayetano Osmundo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Fortineros's Danilo Odilon was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Leonel Nisio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ciro Cresenciano having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

In the 53rd minute, Independiente's Damian Deunoro ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Danilo Odilon. Danilo Odilon yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. Aldo Guzman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ciro Cresenciano having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Damian Deunoro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Independiente's supporters rose to their feet, but Damian Deunoro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Danilo Odilon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Severo Jurgi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Independiente's Ciro Cresenciano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonel Nisio in the 77th minute of play. Damian Deunoro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Danilo Odilon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Fortineros getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Severo Jurgi hit a great ball. With a little luck, Fortineros's Danilo Odilon got control of the ball when Cayetano Osmundo tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 87th minute Damian Deunoro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Danilo Odilon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ciro Cresenciano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonel Nisio in the 93rd minute of play. 97 minutes into the match, Fortineros's goal looked a bit too open when Damian Deunoro came free, but Danilo Odilon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
