The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Juan Beliran during the 5th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Noqueoj FC booed when Talleres was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juan Beliran didn't get a good kick on the ball. David Franco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 16th minute, Joaquin Koldobika hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Arturo Pacho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Noqueoj FC's Roque Emenon got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. David Franco came out of the goal in the 49th minute to try and stop a shot by Talleres's Francisco Itzaina. But to his dismay, Francisco Itzaina quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

After a rather tough play, Noqueoj FC's Mariano Selatse got a free kick in the 55th minute. If Francisco Itzaina had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Roque Emenon might have been able to make a better finish in the 63rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ivan Tipi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Roque Emenon ran back to his position shaking his head. When Leonides Llorienzo came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Noqueoj FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leonides Llorienzo couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Leonides Llorienzo in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ivan Tipi saved Talleres from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Leonides Llorienzo in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ivan Tipi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 78 minutes into the match, Noqueoj FC's goalkeeper David Franco had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Inocencio Mero. If Roque Emenon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Talleres's Ivan Tipi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roque Emenon in the 90th minute of play. Samuel Haritzeder recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 100th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
