After some careless play in the papelito FC defense, Gerardo Derwin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rolando Luke. The papelito FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rolando Luke should have stopped the shot. Rolando Luke showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gerardo Derwin in the 16th minute of the match. Rolando Luke took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arturo Fonso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rolando Luke didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Stasio Gollob went, in the 31st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Norberto Mingo struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Natalio Venerando didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for papelito FC. In the 36th match minute, Deportivo Hofmann was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hipolito Iyan to maneuver through the defense. Norberto Mingo's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 38thth minute, Natalio Venerando skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 40thth minute of the game Gerardo Derwin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but papelito FC's Rolando Luke was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 43 minutes into the match, papelito FC's goal looked a bit too open when Arturo Fonso came free, but Rolando Luke reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Candido Honesto hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Rolando Luke took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gerardo Derwin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The papelito FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Deportivo Hofmann were winning 1-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Norberto Mingo to make the kick off. In the 64th minute, Faustino Louis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gerardo Derwin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Rolando Luke made a huge save. Jorge Txeru hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. A collision led to papelito FC getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Faustino Louis hit a great ball. 78 minutes into the game, Desiderio Dayam was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. papelito FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Deportivo Hofmann the free kick. Rolando Luke made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Gerardo Derwin sent off a good shot on target. Deportivo Hofmann made a substitution. Pankracy Hryc replaced Gerardo Derwin. Desiderio Dayam fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Natalio Venerando having to interfere. Deportivo Hofmann's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
