But to his dismay, Maximino Oroitz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 8 minutes into the match, Escobar's Maximino Oroitz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Paolo Gaspard narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 9th minute, Aaron Berasko hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luis Dacio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robustiano Sustrai having to interfere. 20 minutes into the match, Funky Monks FC's Filomeno Su sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Robustiano Sustrai narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Luis Dacio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Robustiano Sustrai made a huge save. 0-3 became the score in the 32nd minute when Lucas Peter elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. A collision led to Escobar getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Eustacio Artal hit a great ball. Paolo Gaspard showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maximino Oroitz, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Lucas Peter struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Paolo Gaspard didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Escobar.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Filomeno Su to make the kick off. Maximino Oroitz took the ball and in the 52 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Paolo Gaspard. Paolo Gaspard dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. Funky Monks FC's Paolo Gaspard proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Funky Monks FC from getting a goal against them. Lucas Peter sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 61 minutes into the match, Funky Monks FC's goal looked a bit too open when Maximino Oroitz came free, but Paolo Gaspard reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 63rd minute, Maximino Oroitz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Paolo Gaspard was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. When Funky Monks FC's Filomeno Su in the 67th minute got a chance for a shot 67th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Escobar's goalie prevented a goal. Filomeno Su sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 72 minutes, Aaron Berasko mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Escobar and the Funky Monks FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After recieving a nice pass, Funky Monks FC's Gaspar Valerio tried to score from far away in the 73rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Maximino Oroitz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Maximino Oroitz came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Escobar fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Maximino Oroitz couldn't finish the play. Luis Dacio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robustiano Sustrai having to interfere. Lucas Peter received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Paolo Gaspard tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Paolo Gaspard stood somewhat misplaced when Maximino Oroitz came free in front of goal and shot 0-6 to the left of him in the 91 minute. In the 95th match minute, Escobar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lucas Peter to maneuver through the defense.
