Spectators: 6654 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1654, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Filomeno Su started the match with the kick off. The supporters of Shaw booed when Funky Monks FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marciano Uxio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ubaldo Birila fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paolo Gaspard having to interfere. Daniel Baudelio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Paolo Gaspard tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Daniel Baudelio struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Paolo Gaspard didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Shaw. After 20 played minutes Ubaldo Birila rounded Funky Monks FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-0. Genaro Abaurre received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Paolo Gaspard tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ubaldo Birila might have been able to make a better finish in the 25th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Paolo Gaspard. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ubaldo Birila ran back to his position shaking his head. After having played for 28 minutes, Ubaldo Birila managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Shaw's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ubaldo Birila was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Daniel Baudelio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marcial Senon charged in rather forcefully in the 33rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marcial Senon the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 34 played minutes Funky Monks FC got a freekick which was hit by Marcial Senon. Genaro Abaurre's late challenge caught a Funky Monks FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Genaro Abaurre helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Shaw's Genaro Abaurre got a free kick in the 37th minute. In the 38th minute, one of Shaw:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Shaw. The referee gave Funky Monks FC a penalty, 40 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Gaspar Valerio, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Shaw's Ovidio Blasco. 2-1. Paolo Gaspard made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ubaldo Birila in the 43rd minute of play. Filomeno Su might have been able to make a better finish in the 49th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ovidio Blasco. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Filomeno Su ran back to his position shaking his head. Luis Dacio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 49th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ovidio Blasco having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Ubaldo Birila made the kick off in the second half. In the 55th match minute, Funky Monks FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gabriel Hever to maneuver through the defense. Funky Monks FC's Paolo Gaspard played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ubaldo Birila in the 57th minute of play. Leandro Urtsin's late challenge caught a Funky Monks FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Leandro Urtsin helped the player get up and apologised. In the 59th match minute, Shaw was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leandro Urtsin to maneuver through the defense. In the 65th match minute, Funky Monks FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marciano Uxio to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Daniel Baudelio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Paolo Gaspard was relentless in the 66th minute of the game. In the 70th minute, Shaw's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Filomeno Su fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After a rather tough play, Shaw's Genaro Abaurre got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Daniel Baudelio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Benedicto Virila hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luis Dacio got free with Ovidio Blasco in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Paolo Gaspard showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Baudelio, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. After a rather tough play, Funky Monks FC's Marciano Uxio got a free kick in the 94th minute. Shaw's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
