Hugo Illan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ariel Eguntsenti in the 13th minute of the match. In the 14th minute, Ariel Eguntsenti got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Manzano FC booed when Miramonte was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rigoberto Luzaide didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hugo Illan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mauro Segio in the 24th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Manzano FC's Luciano Elodio got a free kick in the 31st minute. After a defensive mix-up in Manzano FC's zone, Mauro Segio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hugo Illan came out of the goal and Mauro Segio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hugo Illan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ariel Eguntsenti, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rodolfo Chale recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 45th minute, Ariel Eguntsenti got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 47 minutes into the match, Mauro Segio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hugo Illan. Manzano FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mauro Segio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mauro Segio to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 68th minute, one of Manzano FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Manzano FC. Gervasio Errapel placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! In the 72nd minute, Luciano Elodio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ariel Eguntsenti could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Hugo Illan made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ariel Eguntsenti got free with Hugo Illan in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 0-3 became the score in the 84th minute when Ariel Eguntsenti elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. 89 minutes into the match, Rodolfo Chale notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Miramonte's Cayetano Santo. Cayetano Santo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to Miramonte getting a freekick after 94 minutes play.
