Julio Isadore fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Freddy Cai having to interfere. Freddy Cai made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julio Isadore in the 11th minute of play. Christian Argi struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Jose Quin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ROCHOS SA. El Bicho's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Christian Argi 16 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. Freddy Cai made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ciriaco Refugio in the 19th minute of play. 20 minutes into the match, ROCHOS SA's goal looked a bit too open when Julio Isadore came free, but Freddy Cai reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in ROCHOS SA's zone, Dalmacio Jerardo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Freddy Cai came out of the goal and Dalmacio Jerardo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Reynaldo Veremundo's late challenge caught a El Bicho's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Reynaldo Veremundo helped the player get up and apologised. Julio Isadore took the ball and in the 31 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Freddy Cai. Freddy Cai dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Claudio Isaio in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jose Quin saved El Bicho from getting behind. Christian Argi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. ROCHOS SA's Freddy Cai played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julio Isadore in the 39th minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ciriaco Refugio was the one to do the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, El Bicho's Julio Isadore sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Freddy Cai narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Emilio Jurgi charged in rather forcefully in the 57th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Emilio Jurgi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 57th minute, Emilio Jurgi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Reynaldo Veremundo was shown his second yellow card after 63 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The supporters of El Bicho booed when ROCHOS SA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Reynaldo Veremundo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 66th minute Claudio Isaio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jose Quin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 70 minutes, Dalmacio Jerardo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the El Bicho and the ROCHOS SA players grew even worse after the yellow card. Jose Quin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zeledon Oroitz in the 71st minute of play. In the 72nd minute, Emilio Jurgi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match had gone on for 75 minutes, Julio Isadore put it in 2-2 from a short distance just to the right of Freddy Cai. Freddy Cai didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Julio Isadore went, in the 80th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-3 was the resulting score. Christian Argi kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. With a little luck, ROCHOS SA's Freddy Cai got control of the ball when Julio Isadore tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience was convinced that Claudio Isaio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jose Quin was relentless in the 96th minute of the game. 97 minutes into the game, Victor Ostadar was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ROCHOS SA's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave El Bicho the free kick. In the 97th match minute, ROCHOS SA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Victor Ostadar to maneuver through the defense. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. El Bicho had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
