Florencio Libertad ran back to his position shaking his head. 12 minutes into the game, Carmelo Caradaro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Canallas's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Los Bohemios the free kick. A collision led to Canallas getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Teofilo Bazkoare made a kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Canallas's goal looked a bit too open when Ismael Elija came free, but Ruperto Emesto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Many of Canallas's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Canallas may have spent more time on the ball, but Los Bohemios were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
