Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ciriaco Ikatz, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 24 minutes into the game, Real Madrid C.F.'s Niceto Lluciano nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cirilo Galsino made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. When Bartolo Normando came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Atletico Baba fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bartolo Normando couldn't finish the play. Ciriaco Ikatz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bartolo Normando in the 35th minute of play. Carlos Lalla's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ciriaco Ikatz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. Venancio Txatxu hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. If Carlos Lalla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bartolo Normando in the 47th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ciriaco Ikatz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Atletico Baba booed when Real Madrid C.F. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 48 match minutes in a wonderful position. Venancio Txatxu didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bartolo Normando in the 50th minute of play forced Real Madrid C.F.'s goalkeeper Ciriaco Ikatz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Niceto Lluciano made a kick off. Bartolo Normando struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Ciriaco Ikatz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Atletico Baba. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bartolo Normando in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ciriaco Ikatz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Atletico Baba's Carlos Lalla got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 65 played minutes Atletico Baba got a freekick which was hit by Robustiano Serafo. Real Madrid C.F.'s Ciriaco Ikatz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Lalla in the 71st minute of play. In the 73rd match minute, Real Madrid C.F. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Venancio Txatxu to maneuver through the defense. In the 74th minute of the match Herminio Asier sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ciriaco Ikatz skillfully saved the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bartolo Normando in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ciriaco Ikatz saved Real Madrid C.F. from getting behind. If Bartolo Normando had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carlos Lalla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eulalio Velasco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cirilo Galsino having to interfere. Ciriaco Ikatz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlos Lalla in the 95th minute of the match. Niceto Lluciano kicked well hit freekick during the 99th minute of the match. The Atletico Baba supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Real Madrid C.F.'s performance. The match ended with a win for Real Madrid C.F..
