Spectators: 7240 (Terracing: 5432, Seating: 1665, VIP seats: 143) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Luis Roderigo got the match started through his kick off. Aristides Sedeni fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ruperto Ilixo having to interfere. Nacho Fernandez came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by Fecha Libre's Edgardo Leocadio. But to his dismay, Edgardo Leocadio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. If Luis Roderigo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Luis Roderigo came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Fecha Libre fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luis Roderigo couldn't finish the play. Nacho Fernandez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edgardo Leocadio in the 28th minute of the match. In the 29th minute Edgardo Leocadio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nacho Fernandez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Edgardo Leocadio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fecha Libre's supporters rose to their feet, but Edgardo Leocadio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nacho Fernandez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 41 minutes into the match, Kabezaurio's goal looked a bit too open when Edgardo Leocadio came free, but Nacho Fernandez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 45 minutes into the game, Higinio Checa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Fecha Libre's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kabezaurio the free kick. The supporters of Kabezaurio booed when Fecha Libre was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Higinio Checa didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 46th minute, Kabezaurio's Aristides Sedeni ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ruperto Ilixo. Ruperto Ilixo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1.

Ruperto Ilixo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aristides Sedeni in the 53rd minute of the match. When Amadeo Lawrence fell near the penalty area in the 64th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fecha Libre's protests and gave Amadeo Lawrence a yellow card for diving instead. Amadeo Lawrence hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aristides Sedeni in the 70th minute of play forced Fecha Libre's goalkeeper Ruperto Ilixo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 72 played minutes Fecha Libre got a freekick which was hit by Federico Gaur. 74 minutes into the match, Fecha Libre's goal looked a bit too open when Aristides Sedeni came free, but Ruperto Ilixo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Higinio Checa was shown his second yellow card after 75 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After a defensive mix-up in Fecha Libre's zone, Aristides Sedeni stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ruperto Ilixo came out of the goal and Aristides Sedeni tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, Kabezaurio's Nacho Fernandez got control of the ball when Edgardo Leocadio tried to sneak it across the goal line. Edgardo Leocadio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Nacho Fernandez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Luis Roderigo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fecha Libre's supporters rose to their feet, but Luis Roderigo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nacho Fernandez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 97 minutes into the match, Kabezaurio's goalkeeper Nacho Fernandez had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edgardo Leocadio. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
