Ruperto Ilixo came out of the goal and Natalio Caetano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Barrialito FC's Gregorio Gartxot got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Natalio Caetano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ruperto Ilixo having to interfere. When Luis Roderigo came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Fecha Libre fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luis Roderigo couldn't finish the play. Higinio Checa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alejo Niva having to interfere. Alejo Niva showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edgardo Leocadio, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. After 39 minutes of play, Fecha Libre's Edgardo Leocadio made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alejo Niva was left in no man's land by his defense there!

An unexpectedly hard shot by Gregorio Gartxot in the 52nd minute of play forced Fecha Libre's goalkeeper Ruperto Ilixo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gregorio Gartxot struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Ruperto Ilixo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Barrialito FC. 1-1 became the score in the 56th minute when Natalio Caetano elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 59th minute Natalio Caetano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ruperto Ilixo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edgardo Leocadio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alejo Niva having to interfere. If Natalio Caetano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 92nd match minute, Fecha Libre was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Higinio Checa to maneuver through the defense. In the 95th minute Gregorio Gartxot shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ruperto Ilixo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 96 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Barrialito FC's Natalio Caetano fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Barrialito FC fully deserved thier win.
