Godofredo Gonzo was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a defensive mix-up in Islas's zone, Hernan Naelio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Delmar Garci came out of the goal and Hernan Naelio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Hernan Naelio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Delmar Garci was relentless in the 77th minute of the game. Indacumpl's Hernan Naelio got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Luciano Hori hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. When Hernan Naelio came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Indacumpl fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hernan Naelio couldn't finish the play. In the 97th match minute, Islas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leopoldo Patrido to maneuver through the defense. Islas succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Indacumpl had controlled the match.
