Spectators: 7256 (Terracing: 5443, Seating: 1669, VIP seats: 144) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Luis Roderigo made the kick off which started today's match. Ruperto Ilixo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Florencio Libertad, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. Ruperto Ilixo came out of the goal in the 10th minute to try and stop a shot by Canallas's Florencio Libertad. But to his dismay, Florencio Libertad quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Luis Roderigo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 16th minute, Carmelo Caradaro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Canallas's Ruperto Emesto got control of the ball when Edgardo Leocadio tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 25thth minute of the game Reynaldo Kelemen who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Fecha Libre's Ruperto Ilixo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Florencio Libertad recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Florencio Libertad in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ruperto Ilixo saved Fecha Libre from getting behind. After 44 played minutes Fecha Libre got a freekick which was hit by Higinio Checa. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Florencio Libertad made a kick off. Reynaldo Kelemen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Ruperto Ilixo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Canallas's Reynaldo Kelemen got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 61stth minute of the game Reynaldo Kelemen who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Fecha Libre's Ruperto Ilixo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 64th minute Luis Roderigo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ruperto Emesto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Fecha Libre's zone, Reynaldo Kelemen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ruperto Ilixo came out of the goal and Reynaldo Kelemen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Edgardo Leocadio took the ball and in the 81 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ruperto Emesto. Ruperto Emesto dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Guaberto Bieito got free with Ruperto Ilixo in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 88th minute, Florencio Libertad got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Reynaldo Kelemen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Florencio Libertad sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Canallas were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
