After 17 minutes of play, Ballester FC's Nicanor Checa made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Emilio Ostargi was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 20th match minute, Ballester FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomas Neto to maneuver through the defense. In the 30th minute, Ceferino Jacob ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marco Galo was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. After a rather tough play, Club Sp. Juan B. Del Bono's Oscar Aznaro got a free kick in the 34th minute. Marco Galo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oscar Aznaro in the 39th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ceferino Jacob in the 45th minute of play forced Ballester FC's goalkeeper Marco Galo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-4 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Teo Eate to make the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Oscar Aznaro got free with Marco Galo in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 55 minutes into the game, Oscar Aznaro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-5. Marco Galo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Constantino Berart fell near the penalty area in the 62nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Club Sp. Juan B. Del Bono's protests and gave Constantino Berart a yellow card for diving instead. Teo Eate fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emilio Ostargi having to interfere. 67 minutes into the match, Ballester FC's goalkeeper Marco Galo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Oscar Aznaro. Nicanor Checa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Teo Eate fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emilio Ostargi having to interfere. A collision led to Club Sp. Juan B. Del Bono getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Dario Santos hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, Ballester FC's Paulo Kaiet tried to score from far away in the 73rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After 74 played minutes Club Sp. Juan B. Del Bono got a freekick which was hit by Cristobal Matro. Teo Eate received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Emilio Ostargi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 82nd match minute, Ballester FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomas Neto to maneuver through the defense. Oscar Aznaro struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Marco Galo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Club Sp. Juan B. Del Bono. In the 88th minute, Nicanor Checa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Ceferino Jacob had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 92 minutes into the match, Ballester FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ceferino Jacob came free, but Marco Galo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Club Sp. Juan B. Del Bono eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
