The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Flavio Inge sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Gaston Nesto fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Brilliant Wildlife XI's protests and gave Gaston Nesto a yellow card for diving instead. When Teodosio Lidon came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Brilliant Wildlife XI fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Teodosio Lidon couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Brilliant Wildlife XI's Clemente Faro got a free kick in the 20th minute. After having played for 22 minutes, Ulises Ranolfo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Shaw AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ulises Ranolfo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 30 minutes into the match, Brilliant Wildlife XI's goalkeeper Amancio Nuñez had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ulises Ranolfo. In the 40th minute, Flavio Inge fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Amancio Nuñez, passed just outside the right post. After 45 minutes of play, Brilliant Wildlife XI's Teodosio Lidon made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pastor Eguen was left in no man's land by his defense there!

The wind increased when Flavio Inge made the kick off in the second half. Angelino Hitz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Pastor Eguen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Teodosio Lidon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jesus Virila fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amancio Nuñez having to interfere. 65 minutes into the match, Brilliant Wildlife XI's goal looked a bit too open when Ulises Ranolfo came free, but Amancio Nuñez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ulises Ranolfo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Flavio Inge scored 2-2 in the 78th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Amancio Nuñez, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Shaw AFC's Timoteo Guillem got a free kick in the 81st minute. 86 minutes into the match, Brilliant Wildlife XI's goal looked a bit too open when Timoteo Guillem came free, but Amancio Nuñez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Amancio Nuñez didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Flavio Inge went, in the 87th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. Ulises Ranolfo scored 4-2 in the 91st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Amancio Nuñez, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 96 minutes into the match, Brilliant Wildlife XI's goal looked a bit too open when Ulises Ranolfo came free, but Amancio Nuñez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Brilliant Wildlife XI's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
