If Hugo Ramirez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eustacio Gartzen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Ruben Checa made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in Villa del Parque FC's zone, Eustacio Gartzen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ruben Checa came out of the goal and Eustacio Gartzen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hugo Ramirez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Manantiales FC's Severino Porfiro couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 34th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Villa del Parque FC. Villa del Parque FC's Ruben Checa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hugo Ramirez in the 36th minute of play. Hugo Ramirez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ruben Checa having to interfere. If Jorge Ospetsu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Roman Claude took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jorge Ospetsu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jorge Ospetsu to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Manantiales FC's Fernan Edur got a free kick in the 53rd minute. If Jorge Ospetsu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 57 minutes into the match, Manantiales FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jorge Ospetsu came free, but Roman Claude reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Villa del Parque FC booed when Manantiales FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arsenio Cresconio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eustacio Gartzen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ruben Checa having to interfere. In the 79th minute, Villa del Parque FC's Jorge Ospetsu dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-1. Hugo Ramirez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ruben Checa having to interfere. Evelio Ospin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roman Claude having to interfere. The Manantiales FC manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Villa del Parque FC to win.
