The audience was convinced that Silverio Michael's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dante Madaleno was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. Ciro Haritz might have been able to make a better finish in the 63rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dante Madaleno. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ciro Haritz ran back to his position shaking his head. Dante Madaleno took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Uriel Oriche, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
