A beautiful save bye Albariño FC's goalie prevented a goal. With a little luck, Albariño FC's Vinicio Arlo got control of the ball when Raul Goiz tried to sneak it across the goal line. Albariño FC's Vinicio Arlo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save Albariño FC from getting a goal against them. 21 minutes into the game, Club Nacional de Fútbol's Raul Goiz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Vinicio Arlo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. When Virgilio Ostadar came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Albariño FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Virgilio Ostadar couldn't finish the play. Venancio Ilixo was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 33rd minute. Club Nacional de Fútbol's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Vinicio Arlo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Venancio Ilixo's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. Raul Goiz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vinicio Arlo having to interfere. If Venancio Ilixo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 42 minutes into the game, Celedonio Tallia was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Albariño FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Club Nacional de Fútbol the free kick. Hector Belmiro was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 43rd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Raul Goiz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Samuel Urbasa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Vinicio Arlo came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by Club Nacional de Fútbol's Raul Goiz. But to his dismay, Raul Goiz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Ciriaco Romano made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Virgilio Ostadar sent off a good shot on target. Virgilio Ostadar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Ciriaco Romano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 66 minutes into the match, Club Nacional de Fútbol's goalkeeper Ciriaco Romano had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Virgilio Ostadar. Raul Goiz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vinicio Arlo having to interfere. During the 68th minute of the match Celedonio Tallia completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Celedonio Tallia a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. A collision led to Albariño FC getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Celedonio Tallia hit a great ball. Raul Goiz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vinicio Arlo having to interfere. Rosendo Gaskon's late challenge caught a Albariño FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rosendo Gaskon helped the player get up and apologised. In the 77th minute, Rosendo Gaskon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 86 minutes of play, Club Nacional de Fútbol's Raul Goiz made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vinicio Arlo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Vinicio Arlo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Venancio Ilixo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Albariño FC's zone, Raul Goiz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vinicio Arlo came out of the goal and Raul Goiz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Club Nacional de Fútbol booed when Albariño FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Samuel Urbasa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Venancio Ilixo struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Vinicio Arlo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Club Nacional de Fútbol. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Club Nacional de Fútbol had won after a very even match.
