Eriberto Alonso came out of the goal and Melchor Nataniel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 11th minute Jose Cordario shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eriberto Alonso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marco Rocendo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eriberto Koldo having to interfere. The attack was good, but when Melchor Nataniel in the 24th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Eriberto Koldo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zeledon Urti in the 27th minute of the match. Eriberto Alonso didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Melchor Nataniel went, in the 29th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. After some careless play in the Cristo FC defense, Melchor Nataniel kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eriberto Alonso. The Cristo FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eriberto Alonso should have stopped the shot. In the 36th match minute, Cristo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Laureano Araoz to maneuver through the defense. In the 39thth minute of the game Jose Cordario who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cristo FC's Eriberto Alonso was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After the first half Ledesma were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Zeledon Urti made a kick off. Jose Cordarios short, quick shot in the 54thth minute got Eriberto Alonso to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zeledon Urti in the 55th minute of play forced Ledesma's goalkeeper Eriberto Koldo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eriberto Koldo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zeledon Urti in the 61st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Melchor Nataniel in the 63rd minute of play forced Cristo FC's goalkeeper Eriberto Alonso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Ledesma getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Fabian Claude hit a great ball. Silvano Montel took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 67th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Eriberto Koldo. Ledesma's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If Melchor Nataniel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 73rd match minute, Ledesma was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabian Claude to maneuver through the defense. When Fabian Claude fell near the penalty area in the 75th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ledesma's protests and gave Fabian Claude a yellow card for diving instead. Fabian Claude hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Marco Rocendo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eriberto Koldo having to interfere. 80 minutes into the game, Zeledon Urti cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Eriberto Koldo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Marco Rocendo scored 2-2 in the 85th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Eriberto Koldo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ledesma's Eriberto Koldo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marco Rocendo in the 89th minute of play. In the 91st minute, Melchor Nataniel reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Eriberto Alonso. The goal made the score 2-3. Ledesma's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
