With a couple of smart ball manuevers Venancio Ilixo in the 89th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dante Madaleno saved San Telmo from getting behind. There was no doubt that Club Nacional de Fútbol were the better team. Club Nacional de Fútbol's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
