Emanuel Cristos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nigel Cochrane, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. In the 11th minute, Braulio Quintan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Andres Beltxe was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Andres Beltxe made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Eustaquio Garin sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eustaquio Garin got free with Andres Beltxe in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 21 minutes into the match, Anjulio FC's goal looked a bit too open when Filomeno Servando came free, but Emanuel Cristos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Salvador Ixona during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Salvador Ixona kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thor Husøy in the 23rd minute of play forced Anjulio FC's goalkeeper Emanuel Cristos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. La Gagoneta FC's Andres Beltxe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raul Inko in the 26th minute of play. La Gagoneta FC's Filomeno Servando got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rosendo Iruinea hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. When the match clock showed 34 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Thor Husøy sped through Anjulio FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Emanuel Cristos. With a little luck, La Gagoneta FC's Andres Beltxe got control of the ball when Eustaquio Garin tried to sneak it across the goal line. 42 minutes into the match, Anjulio FC's goal looked a bit too open when Filomeno Servando came free, but Emanuel Cristos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thor Husøy in the 46th minute of play forced Anjulio FC's goalkeeper Emanuel Cristos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Thor Husøy stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Anjulio FC getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Natalio Ponce hit a great ball. After 60 minutes, Alonzo Florian mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the La Gagoneta FC and the Anjulio FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Alonzo Florian hit a great ball. 62 minutes into the match, La Gagoneta FC's goal looked a bit too open when Eustaquio Garin came free, but Andres Beltxe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Filomeno Servando had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thor Husøys short, quick shot in the 67thth minute got Emanuel Cristos to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Filomeno Servando recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thor Husøy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Thor Husøy took the ball and in the 78 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Emanuel Cristos. Emanuel Cristos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Emanuel Cristos made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Cirilo Ferman sent off a good shot on target. In the 85th minute, Thor Husøy ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Emanuel Cristos was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. La Gagoneta FC's Alonzo Florian shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 93rd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Emanuel Cristos but with some difficulty. In the 97th match minute, La Gagoneta FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alonzo Florian to maneuver through the defense. The La Gagoneta FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
