The audience thought a goal was coming when Bartolo Transito got free with Arnoldo Nisio in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Rolando Chago had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Amancio Inautzi came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by Club Atlético Decadente's Fernando Santio. But to his dismay, Fernando Santio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Bartolo Transito received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Arnoldo Nisio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Suplentes getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Guaberto Calvet hit a great ball. Rafael Abilio didn't quite understand what happened when in the 41 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. Amancio Inautzi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fernando Santio in the 45th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Suplentes's Filomeno Herena got a free kick in the 46th minute. After the first half Club Atlético Decadente were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When Ramiro Cordeal, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 65 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Arnoldo Nisio was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Club Atlético Decadente's Leonides Lastur got a free kick in the 66th minute. Damian Castulo kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bartolo Transito in the 71st minute of play forced Club Atlético Decadente's goalkeeper Arnoldo Nisio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 73rd match minute, Club Atlético Decadente was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonides Lastur to maneuver through the defense.
